On Sunday, March 30, former Northern Nash High School standouts Carson Ashman and Travis Gamache’s current college team, the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Brevard Tornados.

The game took place at Gil Coan Field. This was their third matchup against the Tornados this season.

The Battling Bishops’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 4 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against William Peace Pacers.
