Members of our Crash Reduction Team (CRT) are out working on US264 today. They are actively looking for excessive speeders, aggressive drivers, careless and reckless drivers, and others who make the highways dangerous. Did you know that 424 people died in North Carolina in 2021 due to speed related crashes?  Our CRT Team is funded primarily through a grant with the NC Governor’s Highway Safety Program.  Their primary purpose is to patrol the roadways in Nash County to help reduce crashes by ensuring that motorists are driving in a safe manner.
