On Wednesday, March 19, former Rocky Mount Academy standout Emily Winstead’s current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Florida State Seminoles.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Seminoles this season.

The Crimson Tide’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Davis Diamond against Texas A&M Aggies.
