Here’s your Feel Good February update for Friday, Feb. 3, which is American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Day!
Many city employees are wearing red today to encourage women to be aware of their heart health. Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year, but luckily most heart disease can be lessened or even avoided through education and simple lifestyle issues.
Thanks to all of our employees who are doing their part to raise awareness!
