From March 11, 2023 post.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending the graduation of the Detention Officer Certification Course (DOCC) at Nash Community College Law Enforcement Training. This course is required by NC Sheriffs Training and Standards for all detention employees within one year of their hire. It is a five week course that teaches detention officers all they need to know about working in a detention center. Two of our current employees were among those that graduated yesterday: Detention Officers Sydnee Jackson and Carolyn Poole. We want to congratulate them on their completion and they are now certified detention officers by the state of North Carolina. Congratulations!
