The Kiwanis Club of Rocky Mount was honored to have Sheriff Clee Atkinson as the program’s speaker today. He gave us not only information about his office and deputy training, but also addressed the real-life issues of crime, drugs, and the situation in Memphis. The members were grateful to Sheriff Atkinson and are thankful for his time and information.

A special called meeting of the Rocky Mount City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at the Rocky Mount Event Center in the Nash Room.
The Rocky Mount City Council has scheduled its annual retreat to take place from March 9 to March 10, 2026.
The Down East Senior Games will return this spring, marking the 43rd year of the event aimed at adults aged 50 and above.
