City employees enjoyed visiting classrooms during Read Across America Week!
Dante Pittman visited Wells Elementary and Grant Roberson visited Vinson-Bynum Elementary. Wilson Fire/Rescue Services NC was very busy visiting classrooms at Wilson Preparatory Academy, Community Christian School, Gardners Elementary and Wilson County Partnership for Children. Adrian Sanchez-Soto read to the class taught by his own second-grade teacher at Gardners Elementary. Don Edwards and Shauna Allen-Smith also visited classrooms throughout the week.
We hope all of the students enjoyed the visits and learned a little something about the City of Wilson.
