On Sunday, March 16, former Rocky Mount Academy standout Elizabeth Winstead’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the College of Charleston Cougars.

The game took place at Patriots Point Athletics Complex. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 4 p.m. at St. John Stadium against Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
