On Monday, April 14, former Rocky Mount Academy standout Emily Winstead’s current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The game took place at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium. This was their fourth matchup against the Sooners this season.

The Crimson Tide’s next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at James G. Pressly Stadium against Florida Gators.
