Today several members of the Sheriffs Office were able to attend a brief ceremony and moment of silence in honor of Christal Lane, who was murdered last month. Christal was a student at Coopers Elementary School. Sheriff Stone and others visited in Christal’s homeroom class with some of her classmates. This has been a tough time for her family members, classmates, school staff, and even our Detectives who investigated this case. Please remember them all.
