In a letter printed in The Wilson Times, Simons wrote that a webpage was created — wilsonncchamber.com/COVID-19 — and will be updated daily with information.
The website has information about the executive order to stay at home, health and safety information, business financial assistance, technical assistance and chamber-specific information.
Simons said the chamber is dedicated to, "archiving every pertinent piece of information that assists you through this period of uncertainty. If we’ve missed something, or you know of a resource we haven’t included, please let us know."
All of the chamber's April events have been postponed, including the Wilson Spring Expo presented by Greenlight Community Broadband. Once working conditions return to normal, Simons said all of those affected will be notified and the event will be rescheduled, according to the publication.
"Until then, be assured of our best wishes for health and security in the weeks ahead," he wrote, according to the publication
