Town of Warrenton issued the following announcement on Jul. 12.
An exciting acquisition for Plummer Hook & Ladder Fire Museum! This 1890s bucket wagon, which would have been either horse or mule-drawn, returned home to #WarrentonNC last month and will be a showpiece among many historical artifacts.
Honoring N.C.'s oldest African-American volunteer fire company in continuous service, the museum's official opening is slated for 2022. Follow along with their progress on Facebook and Instagram (@phlmuseum) as their team curates this special space at our Town Hall.
