Nash Community College issued the following announcement on July 30.
Rocky Mount Police Department personnel completed the Telecommunicator Certification Course at Nash Community College on July 26, 2021.
The 50-hour course, governed by the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Education and Training Standards Commission, is designed to teach telecommunicators how to answer calls for service and dispatch appropriate personnel to the call.
