Wilson Community College issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.
The Wilson County Health Department (WCHD) will offer COVID-19 Moderna vaccines for WCC students and employees at no cost on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Eagles Center. The Moderna vaccine is a 2-shot series, and the second dose will be administered on campus, September 24, 2021. Participants will be provided a vaccination card with the date and time to return.
In addition to the information above, those who might be immunocompromised and have received their two-dose vaccine already, may be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine booster. If you feel that you fall in that group, please contact the Wilson County Health Department.
