The Carolina Connector Delivers
Intermodal supports the supply chain bringing goods to the consumer Ceremonies held formally launched the Carolina Connector, a 330-acre, multi-modal cargo hub in Rocky Mount, Edgecombe County, that will significantly improve connections between North Carolina and the global region. It is positioned to reach more than
5 million consumers within a 120-mile radius. Located just five miles off I-95 and 60 miles northeast of the state's capital of Raleigh, and in close proximity to the ports, this is an energy-efficient way to move freight over land and connect businesses where they need to go.
