The Edgecombe County Board of Commissioners recently created a Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Its purpose is to provide advice on parks and recreation matters. The Board includes representatives from a spectrum of views and interests.
We currently still have seats available for appointment. The remaining seats include:
- A member representing municipal interests;
- Two members representing non-profit organizations with interests in parks and recreation; and
- Three members at large members who represent the interests of the public regarding parks and recreation.
If you're an Edgecombe County resident, meet one of these qualifications, and are interested in being considered to serve, complete the Boards and Committees form and return to:
