Nash Community College’s Veterinary Medical Technology program’s Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America held a donation drive during the month of March to collect items for Purrfect Hearts Cat Rescue. The students collected cat food, treats, litter, blankets, toys, beds, food and water bowls, litter boxes and other essential items. Students in the Veterinary Medical Technology program also provide care for cats rescued by Purrfect Hearts Cat Rescue to gain essential skills needed to practice as vet techs.
