Fifteen Edgecombe Community College students and staff, including ECC President Dr. Greg McLeod, participated in the Adopt-A-Highway cleanup on April 23 sponsored by the college’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
The Alpha Omega Nu chapter at ECC collected 21 bags of trash and recyclables along a three-mile stretch of highway in front of the Tarboro campus. The chapter is in its 23rd year as an Adopt-A-Highway partner.
