Shout Out! for the return of Good News Awards at the Wilson County Board of Education

Shout Out! for the return of Good News Awards at the Wilson County Board of Education's regular monthly meetings! The awards were paused during the pandemic, and it was great to have recipients in attendance again! During the July 18 meeting, the Board recognized three cafeteria managers - Ginger Crocker from Jones Elementary, Natashia McKeel from Rock Ridge Elementary and Emily Bunn from Fike High - for their first-place finishes in the Culinary Arts Competition at the School Nutrition Association of North Carolina State Conference. The Board also recognized three principals - Annette Faison from Vick Elementary, Luretta Hardy-Belfield from Speight Middle and Dr. Jonathan Tribula from Beddingfield High - for completing the Distinguished Leadership in Practice Program provided by the NC Principals & Assistant Principals' Association. Congrats to the Good News Award recipients!
