We were honored to welcome North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper to Martin Millennium Academy earlier today. Governor Cooper was greeted by Superintendent Dr. Valerie Bridges, Principal Kelly Anne Mudd, and several students.
After presenting school supplies to Mrs. Mudd, he visited Ms. Dickens’ third-grade class, Ms. Moreno’s first-grade Spanish Immersion class, and Mrs. Wooten’s art class. During his remarks after the classroom visits, Governor Cooper praised all teachers and school staff for their commitment to students and pledged his continued support for public education.
