On Saturday, 01/14/2023, ECSO deputies responded to a residence in the 13000 block of US 64 Alt W, Rocky Mount for a warrant service.
While speaking with the resident, deputies observed a vehicle matching the description of the subject with warrants. Deputies initiated a traffic stop and took the driver, Christopher Scott Lanier into custody. After an investigation, it was determined the passenger, Andrew Jason Hunt, also had a warrant and was taken into custody without incident. Both subjects had extraditable warrants from Virginia and were remanded to the Edgecombe County Detention Center awaiting extradition.
