The Wilson Medical Center Community and Employee Engagement Committees are organizing a Back-to-School Drive for 2025. The event, known as the “Fill the Bus” Extravaganza, is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will be held in the hospital’s back parking lot.

The initiative aims to gather school supplies by filling up a bus with donations that will support Wilson County Public Schools. This marks the third year of such efforts to aid local students.

The drive welcomes contributions of all sizes. School supplies can include various items needed for students’ return to school.

Participation is not restricted to staff members alone. Individuals connected with local organizations are encouraged to contribute by dropping off items at the designated school bus location. The goal is to foster community involvement, and staff members will be present to welcome those who bring donations.

For further inquiries about the event, Angela Livingston, Visitors Assistance Representative, can be contacted at 252.399.8107.
