City of Rocky Mount issued the following announcement on June 23.
The city of Rocky Mount is seeking input from the public regarding plans for the Sunset Avenue Corridor.
Residents can log onto sunsetavestudy.com to participate in a survey that gauges input of transportation issues, concerns and improvements along the corridor. The area identified is Sunset Avenue from Forest Hill Avenue to Halifax Road. All residents who live near or frequently travel the area are encouraged to participate in the planning process of making the corridor safe and convenient, no matter the chosen mode of transportation.
Survey responses will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the study.
Residents may sign up to receive up to receive project updates. Project events and dates are yet to be determined.
