Freedom Hill's Youth Media Camp is a 4-week documentary production program connecting NC students, age 14-19 years old, to Princeville's Black history. Students will conduct interviews, learn oral history skills, explore archives and learn the basics of documentary filmmaking. The program will culminate in a short participatory documentary about Princeville’s inaugural Homecoming Celebration.
Students will receive a stipend ranging from $500-750 for their participation in the camp.
