The Town of Tarboro serves to represent the interests of our community through various Boards and Commissions comprised of our citizens. Currently, the Tarboro Town Council is seeking to appoint an individual to represent Ward 8 on the Town Council due to a vacancy.
If you have an interest in serving, you must reside and be a registered voter in this ward. To apply, submit a Boards and Commissions Application and resume if desired, to the office of the Town Clerk located inside the Town Hall at 500 N. Main Street Tarboro, NC 27886.
Applications can be downloaded at: Town of Tarboro Board Application or picked up at the Town Manager’s office located on the second floor. A ward map can also be viewed at www.tarboro-nc.com under the department administration tab.
All applications must be turned in by July 1, 2022.
