Wilson County's Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the 2022/2023 Budget on June 9th. The budget, at just over $118M, has NO tax increase and maintains the tax rate at .73. County Manager Denise Stinagle outlined in her budget address that it provides investments for the county's five core values of Sound Financial Management, Innovative County Workforce, Community Partnerships, Quality of Life, and Superior Education and Workforce.

This budget year process kicked off in January and commissioners have spent months reviewing revenues, expenditures, and Wilson County needs along with future investments for our growing county.
