40 hour Crisis Intervention Team Training (CIT) class concluded

44

40 hour Crisis Intervention Team Training (CIT) class concluded. CIT is designed to improve the way first responders interact with those experiencing mental health crises. Sixteen first responders attended the training representing: ECU Health Police Department, Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office, Halifax County Sheriff's Office, Lake Royale Police Department, NC Department of Public Safety (Probation & Parole), and the Wilson County Sheriff's Office. This is a great partnership between Eastpointe, the agencies that send their personnel to this training and Edgecombe Community College. And of course Chief Jordan who is the primary instructor/coordinator for the class.
